They Made It!

Friday, July 5 was the last day of school.  From this side of that date, the year went by so quickly.  But from the September 2012 side of that date, July seemed an eternity away.

In September, four timid, scared children walked into the school yard wondering how they were going to make it through a whole school year.

In July, four confident, smiling children walked out of the school yard wondering how the school year was over already.

And somewhere along the way...they began to understand what the teachers were saying, and this new language began to make sense.

To celebrate the end of the year, the school hosted a Ball.  Each class learned five traditional folk dances from this region, and after performing at the Ball, invited the parents to join in.  Here are a few pictures from the "Haut Bal des P'tits Maché...
